Does autocomplete support the use case where we could automatically update an assignment status after a set period eg 30 days after termination?

Content (required):

We have a requirement where terminated workers require access to Fusion for payslips and expenses for up to 30 days after leaving the organisation. The default assignment status is Inactive - Payroll Eligible and was wondering whether on the 31st day this could be amended to Inactive - No Payroll through an autocomplete rule? This would then trigger the deprovisioning of the role and subsequently suspend the user account. I appreciate this could be done through an integration, but wanted to explore autocomplete as an option as well
