How to enable supplemental logging on Autonomous ATP or ADW on Shared Infrastructure

Summary:

Per the latest documentation, it shows that Goldengate should be able to extract from ATP or ADW. In order for GoldenGate to do this we need to add supplemental logging.

I understand a previous answer was provided 2 years ago here:

Per the documents, we need to execute the following command:

alter PLUGGABLE database add supplemental log data

When doing so we get the following error:

Error starting at line : 3 in command -

alter PLUGGABLE database add supplemental log data

Error report -

ORA-31541: Supplemental logging is not enabled in CDB$ROOT.
