Assign Contextual Journey task to future HR BP (before Approval)

A contextual journey is created before the user (current HRBP) opens the relevant application task to enter the data.

In case of a transfer, the intention is to give some tasks to the old HRBP, but also some to the new HRBP. Who the new HRBP is is not known until the data into the transfer quick action is entered. Approval runs in parallel to the checklist, and make take a while. In the mean time, we need to ensure the new HRBP gets some tasks to perform, even before final approval is obtained.

The only option we see is to assign the task to a hard coded system user at the time, and then reassign the task to another user via interface. Is there any other way, either now or on the roadmap to address this?
