Our company offers Stock Options and Restricted Stock Units as a part of compensation for certain individuals, and also has granted a Universal Stock Option which is scheduled to vest in the relatively near future. We work with a third-party brokerage for our equity plans.
We have had considerable challenges finding efficient and effective ways to process these earnings, and our current processes are prohibitively cumbersome to handle high volume of transactions. Since our third-party partner is handling the brokerage and the distribution of net funds, we need to validate/match their calculations and process payroll (earnings and taxes, zero net pay from payroll) to match that as well.
