Use of new profile "Restrict access to the deliver-to locations of the requisitioning business unit"

Would like to know if the new profile "Restrict access to the deliver-to locations of the requisitioning business unit" is controlled in SSP

We face a difficult issue with having locations configured for HCM purposes and would like to limit them as have been requested in other ideas, e.g. for the Req Preferences. And were happy to see a new profile which potentially could do exactly it, "Restrict access to the deliver-to locations of the requisitioning business unit". But I cannot recall that I've seen it in any release note.

Is the new profile controlled in SSP? If not, any planned release? Any restriction, e.g. old/new UI?
