Summary:

How to restore boot volume backup without creating new instance

Content (required):

I have a instance (A) which i do not use for some time, so i stopped it, then backup its boot volume and detached the boot volume and terminated the boot volume, so I can free the space of the boot volume for other instance B

Now, B is no longer needed, I want A back. How can I attach boot volume restored from the backup to A?

A is not terminated, it is stopped and cannot be started due to no boot volume attached.

I can create new instance from the restored backup, but it is not I want, I want same IP for instance A...

Howdy, Stranger!
