Unable to refresh embedded content. Underlying data has been removed?

Summary:

Content (required): I was working in a report package when I received this error. We have multiple report reference doclets used in this report package. I had to go into the report being referenced and change the data source from Test to Production. When I went back to the report package, I checked out the old report reference doclet, replaced it with the updated report and checked it back in. (The refresh button was not available when checking out the older reference doclet, which is why I decided to replace it.) Upon checking it back in, that is when I
