Goal

The following steps below shows how to add Oracle Linux 6 ELS software sources in OSMS for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure


Solution

  1. Go to the OCI web console and see your instance details,
  2. Go to "Resources" -> OS Management
  3. Then click on the 3 dots on the right side and then click on "View OS Management Details"
  4. Then on the next page, go "Resources" -> "Software Sources" and click on add 
  5. Then search for the following software sources as required:
  • Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel Release 4 for Oracle Linux 6 ELS (x86_64)
