Employee Promoted in One Plan but Needs Comp Statement for Another Plan

Summary:

My client has 2 Compensation plans. The plans are set up by population. The first plan is set up for employees that work in the Field and the second plan is set up for employees that work in the Corporate functions. The plans have different bonus programs and stock programs.

My question is - when an employee is promoted in the Field Plan and this new job is part of the Corporate plan, is there a way to easily move this person from the Field Plan to the Corporate Plan with out losing their Salary increases? The Comp Team wants the employee promoted to the new job that is part of the Corporate Plan to get the Corporate statement since this statement will have the new bonus and stock structure for the next year. It is not feasible to add the Corporate statement to the Field Plan because the configuration
