Summary:

The boot volume of my compute instance is not the right size. It shows the correct size at the instance page but not in the Linux machine itself. I tried terminating and recreating the instance multiple times.

I have created a new instance with a 150GB custom boot volume. This correctly shows up in the "Boot volume" page of the instance page. However, when I check the actual size on the machine itself, the drive is only 37 GB with a 10GB boot folder. Together 47GB, the standard boot volume size. I tried terminating and recreating the instance multiple times but that did not work. I terminated one other instance because I am currently using the free tier and thought that my storage capacity was full. I now have one AMD instance with a 47GB volume and
