I'm integrating Sales and MS 365 and I came across this points. Can someone clarify what exactly this mean?

when it says don't connect a single account to 2 instances, where is this mapping happening? all we are supposed to do is to register test and production pods separately? does this mean test pod is to be registered from x@abc.com and prod from y@abc.com MS accounts respectively?
