Hide PAR locations from requesters placing requisitions

Within a business unit there may exist an office space as well as PAR locations. Typically, the PAR locations are restocked with automatically generated requisitions, and the office workers do not want to see the list of PAR locations. In a single BU, there may be thousands of locations.

Aside from splitting into multiple BU's, are there any options or ideas to restrict these from view?

As an off the wall idea, would it be possible to use a certain prefix in location code and use Page Composer to apply a "does not contain" filter that is invisible to the user?
