Looking for other clients that have Hourly Staff with Multiple Shift Differentials (example Nurses)
Summary: Looking to find out how others handle multiple shift differentials like Night, Weekend, and Weekend Night. We have a small group of employees that we need to add multiple shift differentials for based on the shift worked (10%, 15%, 20%).
Content (required): We currently have 1 differential, which is set up on the timecard with a special time type (Night Earnings) and a fast formula that multiplies it out. With adding more differential levels, we would like to see if there is a better way to set it up (not utilizing timecard FF).
We are in the US, and the differential pay must somehow be included in the overtime pay calculation. Are there any hospitals out there, or other organizations that have multiple shift differentials? How do you have it set up? Does it work well?
