Can you see the derivation of lead time for scheduled ship date

Summary: Often times we have scheduled ship dates which reflect over stating of lead times for manufactured items. We dig into item planning parameters and vendor lead times but it would be beneficial to see what elements are contributing to an item's lead time. This would greatly assist with troubleshooting. Is this possible?
