Goal

This document will explain how to create two frozen custom sources in OSMS and how to apply updates from this channel to other instances.


Solution

1. Create one custom source, for details on how to, please open

https://docs.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/os-management/osms/osms-software-sources.htm

and go to "Creating a Custom Software Source" ( Please do not select a parent source at this time! Make sure "Parent Software Source" is set to "NONE" ), lets call the channel custom-ol7-uek6.


2. Edit the custom source custom-ol7-uek
