PURPOSE

In Oracle Cloud Infrastructure(OCI), there is available secure and high availble NTP server 

169.254.169.254 you can use to set the date and time of your Oracle Linux 6/7 instances. You can also 

use public NTP server or use FastConnect to configure an on-premises NTP server. This article just 

focuses on how to configure and troubleshoot Oracle Linux 6/7 instances NTP client by using OCI NTP 

Server.
