Can the compose message functionality be removed from Hiring Manager

Summary:

Many clients do not want hiring managers to be able to message candidates via the system. We need to remove some functionality that was introduced when the messages tab was introduced in 22B.

There have been 2 concerns raised. 1) Some organisations want all communications to candidates to come via the recruiting function (though they are happy for manager to view the communications in the Messages tab. 2) There is a concern that if candidates hit reply they think they're responding to the hiring manager but actually they're not (they're going back to the recruiting team).

Content (required):

We have removed the 'Interact with Candidate' privilege from the Hiring Manager role. Before the Messages tab was introduced this prevented hiring managers sending messages via the system. However, the hiring managers can now compose a message via the Messages tab. There does not seem to be a privilege to remove this, and page composer changes can create issues, so aren't a preferred option. Are there any other options... or do we know if any changes are on the roadmap?

Howdy, Stranger!
