Payroll Definition - How to Extend Time Period

At the time of implementation our consulting partners created payroll calendar for 7 years i.e until end of 2022. We want to extend the calendar for next few years. What is the correct way to extend them. Do we simply edit the payroll definition in correction mode and change the number of years?
