PCM to EPCM Migration-Data Management

We are about to migrate PCM to EPCM and we are curious to know what level of artifacts will be handled and migrated to EPCM in terms of DM by the migration tool. In the admin guide it specifically says, DM migration is not supported by the migration tool. If this is true, please let us know how to handle DM migration from PCM to EPCM.
