Change Personal Information/ESS approval rules based on Roles

Hi All,

This might be a very simple question. We have a requirement to configure change personal information approval rules based on roles.

If Emp initiates National Id/Veteran Info Change --> Route to Shared Service HR(Custom HR Specialist) for approval

If any other role initiates any change for any employee from My Client Groups> Personal Details, then that transaction must be auto approved.

Now users with any other role , like HR Specialists/ HR Managers also will have the employee role. So, how will the system distinguish it based on from where the change has happened ? Like from Me or from My Client Groups.
