Task reminders

Hello,

My client need is that on off boarding journey there will be a reminder to task's performers as describe in the following:

1. One day before the termination date
2. At the termination date itself.

I tried to do it as you can see in the print screens. But the performers didn't get any reminders or notification

I would appreciate it if you could describe to me how can I define my client's need in the system
