Associate multiple contacts to same partner or account address ?

Summary:

We have a requirement that an account address can have multiple contacts associated to it. When we check standard implementation we can find only 1-1 mapping between account address and contact where for each address we can select a contact.

Can anyone help with best practice on how to achieve the same? Do we have any standard way to achieve the requirement?

We can always create a custom attribute and write a groovy script behind to pick multiple contacts, but looking for a better way to achieve the same.
