Is it possible to update Expense Itemization records' account details?

Summary:

We have a requirement to update Expense Itemization records' account information. There is no field available in rest api to update Itemization record's account information.

We are able to update ExpenseDistribution CodeCombinationId only. Account details on header level for expense type got updated but itemization records are still showing older account details. :


Please let us know if there is any way to update the expense itemization records' account details via rest/soap or any other mechanism. If there is no option then what is the workaround for above use case.
