Onboarding Checklist - Offset Days Interaction

edited Sep 4, 2023 7:27PM in Journeys 7 comments

Hello,

We have been trying to understand the interaction of the offset days in the tasks of a checklist (Onboarding Enterprise to be specific) and it seems that whatever value we use in the offset days section, it doesn't affect anything.

This screenshot shows the tasks that have been created for the line manager today, with different offset day in each task, yet i was able to complete all of them without any difference to the interaction. The same goes to the tasks that the performer is the worker

Can anybody clarify to me how exactly the offset affects the tasks? I have read the oracle docs example "Example, a worker is being transferred on 17-June-2021. However, the Orientation Session for New Employee task needs to be performed by the HR representative of the new assignment 4 days after the transfer. In this case, you configure the task offset days as 4 days so that the new HR representative is evaluated as of 21-Jun-2021 (17-Jun-2021 + 4 days) and the task is assigned to them", yet it doesn't seem to apply to my test.

Howdy, Stranger!
