Cannot "Export In Query Ready Mode" from Oracle report

Content (required):

User is not able to export FR reports to SmartView through Export In Query Ready Mode.


The option at the bottom of the reports to export into smartview is either

1. Not working at all

OR

2. After several clicks provides export at the bottom of the screen but does not open in excel


This has been working previously (not 100% of the time), but user have tried a number of times today and either nothing happens or it opens an excel window and excel immediately crashes.
