Maintenance Asset in Inventory Loaction

Hi

I have created the maintenance asset in inventory, now it's not possible to map with work center,

what is the major advantage of creating asset in inventory,

what if i create asset at maintenance module itself ,

can i perform transfer and sales asset if i created in Manage Asset area

is there any work around to map the work center with asset while creating asset from inventory
