Allow Absence Plan to be Utilized/Available Immediately - From Date of Hire

We would like our absence plan to be available to team members from the day they are hired. The goal is that if someone is hired, and there is a holiday during their first week, they will be able to use paid leave time to cover that holiday. The current plan is already set up to allow a person to go negative 8 hours. Issue is that the paid leave plan does not start until the first payroll is processed. I would think that we have the ability to allow team members to use their paid leave day one if
