Creating User Accounts for BOTs

Summary:

Do you have user accounts for BOTs? Our organization has an RPA team that is using UI Path to have bots perform tasks typically performed by business users. In order to do this they are requesting that bot IDs be setup as user accounts in Oracle and get appropriate access to mimic what a person user is doing. We currently have employee records interfaced into Oracle HCM as person records. For the bots we have just been creating a standalone user account without a person record, but we lose the ability to assign procurement agent permissions,
