Unable to accrue PTO for a Terminated employee for the last pay Period
We have Kronos Time Keeping system which feeds Oracle Element entry after the Employee's Termination date,
Because of this Accrual for the last pay period is not getting calculated.
Pay Period start date= 04/Sep
Pay Period start date= 17/Sep
Employee Terminated=14/Sep (it could be keyed on any date say 01/Sep, but no later than 14/Sep)
This end dates the employee's Accrual Plan 0n 14/Sep
Time Entry export from Kronos to Oracle Date=19/Sep
Payroll Run Date=21/Sep
Accrual Run (Calculate Accrual and Balances) =21/Sep
Since Employee is terminated and the plan is end-dated effective 14th Sep, this employee will not be picked up in the accrual and that will skip their last pay period Accrual.
