    As part of Oracle’s ongoing journey to improve customer uptime on Fusion Applications environments, we are implementing an initiative that establishes/defines controls to limit resource consumption and elapsed time on customer environments due to long-running customer-defined BI (BIP or OTBI) SQL.

    Who is affected?

    Fusion Applications customers are affected.

    What is the change?

    Beginning October 12, 2022, any customer-defined BI SQL that exceeds 5 hours or 4 billion logical I/O will be canceled in non-production environments. Production environments will follow, starting October 26, 2022, and continuing through November.
