External Transaction creation by Auto reconciliation for One to Many rule

Summary:

We are looking to implement automatic reconciliation. Since amount in statement will have difference we are looking to use tolerance limit. As per oracle docs amount tolerance only works in one to one matching. But we will be using one to many. I tried in our development instance and found tolerance works in one to many matching also. Even external transaction is created for difference amount. Anyone knows or have used it in their projects. I want to make sure it works because Support ID and Oracle Docs do not mention it anywhere.
