Our Contingent Workers are being allocated task. Can someone assist?

Summary:

We have created an enterprise onboarding checklist, based on the 'add pending worker' Action'. Unfortunately the way our system is set up we hire both employees and contingent workers with the same action of Add Pending Worker.
