Summary: Oracle Fusion Cloud Journal attachment retention

Content (required): We have a spreadsheet journal that was posted with 2 supporting attachments attached to it. The workflow email notification for journal approval reported that there was 2 attachments in the journal. This journal was posted in March 2022. When I go into manage journals today (Oct 2022) and lookup this journal there are no attachments attached to the journal. Is there some sort of purge process that purges the attachments in a journal? What is the retention period of journal attachment for this purge process?
