Can the "Explore" tab be enabled for employees so they can search for and assign Journeys to self?

Summary:

Would like employees to have access to Explore tab of Journeys so they can search for and assign Journeys themselves instead of relying on a manager. Current functionality does not give employees access to this tab but we would like to based on business need.

We are using Journeys to document steps to obtain a possible promotion. Colleagues would be best served if they are able to explore the various Journeys by role themselves instead of waiting on their manager to assign the Journey. Would like to know if anyone has provided access to the explore tab through a special security role or other means so employees can see and utilize the functionality in the Explore tab the way the Line Manager role can.
