Is it possible to use a data loader to update existing salary details?

edited Nov 4, 2022 5:53PM in Compensation 2 comments

Summary:

Is it possible to update existing salary detail rows with the Next Salary Review Date using a data loader.

Content (required):

We do not currently use the Next Salary Review Date but have decided it would provide value to our salary review process. We would like to update existing employee salary details with the Next Salary Review Date without adding a new row or changing any existing data. We have the Salary.DAT data loader file and cannot determine how to complete the load without adding a row. Is what want to do feasible?

Another question, if we decide to start loading salary changes during a salary review cycle is it possible to have the loaded salary go through workflow approvals?

Howdy, Stranger!
