Is it possible iCreate ORC text Descriptive Flexfields hat can contain more than 1000 Characters

Summary:

We are using a number of Descriptive Flexfields in our Job Requisition Details section, We have set the current text length to 1000 characters. However our recruiters would like these fields to be able to contain more characters. We have tried increasing the value to set to 2000 we get the following error message

The value set KPN_CHAR_2000 cannot be assigned to the global segment KPN_Jouw rol als. (FND-2627)

"In application 821 and descriptive flexfield IRC_REQUISITIONS_DFF, value set KPN_CHAR_2000 cannot be assigned to global segment KPN_Jouw rol als which uses column ATTRIBUTE_CHAR6. The assigned value set must have a data type that is compatible with the column data type and its maximum length must be no longer than the column length and its validation type must not be view object"
