Smart tip activation settings - set to do not show when a process guide is running?

Hi

I have created a smart tip that pops up when you access the termination guide page (screenshot 1) that prompts users to start the termination process guide. When clicking to launch it, the smart tip disappears which is what I expect.

However, if the user starts the termination guide from the homepage, when accessing the termination guide, the smart tip shows even though the guide is running (screenshot 2) so there is an overlap.

Is there an activation setting / configuration that can be added to the smart tip so that it does not show when there is a process guide running?
