Comparing data between ERP and Planning in a Report

Hi All, Since you can reference cells in another grid I thought it was possible to use 2 different data sources with different structures like Planning and ERP, however I'm getting errors that the member doesn't exist in the other data source.

I've set up a hidden sheet with a grid from Fusion ERP. In the main sheet iIve created a grid with a data source of planning. The structures in the 2 data sources are similar but not entirely the same. When I'm building my planning grid it's referring to my selections and giving errors that the selected members do not exist in the ERP data source.
