How to stop the cursor from moving to the top of the page when a notification pops up

Summary:

Content (required): It happens so that when the client is typing in the solution description box in the service request object and a notification pops up, the cursor automatically moves to the top of the page towards the notification bell icon which is not desirable. Please help if anybody has any pointers on how to prevent this from happening.
