Payrolling Benefits UK
We are looking into the possibility of moving P11D to payrolling for our company car and private medical benefits. We have tested out the out-of-the-box calculation card functionality and are broadly comfortable with the required process. However we have a number of scenarios where we haven't found a workable solution. Any additional guidance would be greatly appreciated.
1) How do we get a benefit to prorate when there is a mid-month change (e.g. benefit value, hire, termination)?
2) What is the impact of using the 'Is the cost to you an annual amount?' field - should that only be used if a benefit runs from January to December or any time that proration is required?
