What is the purpose of Compensation derived factors other than to use in eligibility profiles?
Derived factors are used in eligibility profiles. But, are there other ways where we can use them? There is a provision to add them as default values in the Compensation plans-->column properties (for worksheet and in Budget pages). If we add any derived factor to the default value section in any column, what will be the output?
There is a derived factor defined as Compensation<$80000 with determination date as as of event date. If I add this to Budget Distribution Amount (properties), what will be the output? Are there any rules for using Compensation derived factors in Compensation plan setup?
