Compute Instance Disappeared after Free Trial Ended

I was actively using the services I was hosting on my compute module after the free trial expired, but 1 month after the trial expired, it appears my compute instance has disappeared even though it was setup as an "always free" service. Is there a way I can at minimum recover the data from that instance?
