Use preceding task from different enterprise onboarding step

Hello,

We have a requirement in which we are asked to use as preceding task a task that belongs to a different checklist enterprise onboarding step.

To be more specific, the initial plan was to use in the Onboarding step the "Hiring Documents" task and in the next task, which is "Attach signed employment documents", we are supposed to use the "hiring documents" as preceding task.

Now we are requested to move the Hiring Documents task to the Pre-Onboarding step, but we must retain it as preceding task for the Onboarding's task.

I didn't find any documentation regarding this, and when i click on the preceding task list of values, it only shows all the tasks that are in that specific checklist step and we don't have the ability to search for anything outside that checklist step:
