Using a value set to provide element entry input value dropdown - excessively large dropdown box

edited Nov 29, 2022 12:30PM in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI) 7 comments

Summary:

Drop down boxes in the standard entries page are excessively wide. Any solution?

Content (required):

When an element input value is restricted using a value set, the values appear as a dropdown list in the standard entries page. But this dropdown is so wide it has a horizontal slidebar, even if the values are a single character, see screenshot. The field itself is excessively wide too. Is there any way around this? It looks a bit silly.

The value set itself is pulling labels from a UDT table, which appear to be 80 characters wide. Is that the problem? I can't see any way to reduce that down.

Howdy, Stranger!
