Self service of customers was mentioned on Wednesday but I did not have time to type my question as my first time attending

 As I presume this access via a password - how is this set up and where is it maintained (in Receivables?)

 Also if a payment is made by the customer is this just a promise of a payment and not connected to a transaction with a financial institution i.e Bank or Credit card supplier
