Flashback feature usage in OCI

Summary:

Hi, I have a critical change to do in my application and I would like to know if it is allowed to use flashback database feature on my vm dbsystem instance.

Content (required):

If something goes wrong, I will flashback my dbsystem to restore point and I would like to clarify if OCI can handle this scenario, regarding to backup, etc. I have also a standby enabled, so I supposed I will have to recreated, or you can share some alternative plan, if you don´t mind.
