Future budget date on requisition causing accounting issues

Summary:

We have had several instances of users putting a future date (not open period) by many years in some cases and causing accounting issues on encumbrance. We have had to open up our encumbrance period past our current fiscal year to allow us to close the months

How are you preventing your users from future dating in the Budget Date field and is there a setting that doesn't allow future dating?
