Can You Use an EFF segment in Security Exclusion Rule

When leveraging AOR in Person Security profile, and adding an exclusion rule, are EFFs able to be selected to use for exclusion rules?

We want to leverage an EFF field in an exclusion rule for AOR based security, currently we are able to use DFFs but, unsure if EFFs can be leveraged through the Exclusion Rule or if a custom criteria needs be leveraged instead.
