Hello,

We have a requirement wherein we want to create salary basis based on simple components as shown in the example below:

Basic Wage: 6000 (60% of the total)

Transportation Allowance: 2000 (20% of the total)

Housing Allowance: 2000 (20% of the total)

Total Salary: 10000

HRBP needs to enter the salary of 10000 and rest of the components should be calculated. As far as I know, this cannot be accomplished in Oracle even if we have the ability to configure salary basis based on simple components. Yes, we can let them add Basic Salary as 6000 and the rest of the two calculate based on that and then the overall salary is calculated. But they want to enter the overall salary and rest of the components should be calculated based on that. Let me know if this is possible.
