ORC Applicant Verification ID emails

Some email id verification emails appear never to arrive or arrive too late

We have noticed an issue where some applicants either never receive the verification ID email, or it arrives too late and has time out.

Has anyone else seen this issue? We are being led to believe the issue is with each of the applicants' email providers and we need to approach all of them and ask why this is happening, that seems odd and impossible (you cannot contact every email provider in the world in case)
